School safety is paramount for DODE. We can only provide a quality education to our students if we first provide a safe learning environment.
As such, we are constantly researching new technologies and methods to increase the safety of our Navajo classrooms. As discussed with our school leaders during our August 9 meeting (recording link available on the Meetings page), some Arizona schools have begun using an app called Mutualink, which provides digital emergency preparedness.
