The Department of Diné Education wants to take time to recognize all the remarkable women on our staff, as well as those that we serve each day across the Navajo Nation.
We have long relied on their resilience, strength, and guidance to help us along our way. This holds especially true on March 8, International Women’s Day, but we also want to extend these wishes all throughout March, Women’s History Month.
Today we also want to encourage all our visitors, students, and school staff across the Navajo Nation to learn as much as they can about the history and lives of our Diné asdzáán and their roles throughout our history. Then do everything possible to keep this knowledge alive.
