Navajo Head Start held their monthly Human Resources Training on December 1 at the Navajo Education Center auditorium in Window Rock.
Despite the two-hour delay brought by the winter weather that hit the Navajo Nation the previous night, Head Start staff were eager to welcome their guests to the training and continued with a full agenda to incite discussion and encourage critical thinking among the participants.
Topics included Standards of Conduct, Chain of Command, Emergency Preparedness, SCAN Reporting & Procedures, Content Updates, and various other avenues that were brought by the presenters. Acting Head Start Superintendent Roy Tracy and Acting DODE Superintendent Claudia Edgewater were among the speakers who voiced their appreciation for the guests.
Future trainings are scheduled for the first Friday of each month. The January training will be held January 5, 2024.
