The Navajo Nation Library and Navajo Project I-LAUNCH have partnered to recognize and host a “Celebration of Diné Authors” event on September 9 at 3:30 pm. They invite the public to join them at the Main Library, located next to the Navajo Nation Museum in Window Rock, AZ.
Visitors will get to see 2022 American Indian Youth Literature Award Winners: Daniel Vandever (author of Herizon) and Brian Young (author of Healer of the Water Monster).
“We are extremely excited to host both authors for an AIYL award presentation, book reading from both, book signings, and refreshments will be served!” said Donovan Pete, community library manager for the Navajo Nation Library.
